Welcome to the parish website of Killenummery and Killery, a parish of the Catholic Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise that is known as the island parish. The parish of Inishmagrath to the east and Dromahair to the west surrounds it. Both of these parishes belong to the Diocese of Kilmore. To the southwest is the parish of Riverstown, which is in the diocese of Elphin.
This website will highlight some information regarding some historical aspects of our parish alongside present day information about our community, our churches, schools and burial grounds. We welcome those members of our parish community who are living and working abroad.
